Technical Drawing, 12:20-1:35, ages 13 & up, 4 weeks, $39 plus $8 supply fee
Do you love to draw in a technical way?  Learn the basics of drafting, creating 2D and 3D drawings in geometric construction and basic perspective.  As a final project, draw a building, house, or interior technical drawing perspective colored with water colors.  Note:  No technical drawing June 1st.  Instructor:  Carmen Fernandez

Intro to Arduino, 9:50, ages 12 & up, $29 plus $5 supply fee, BYO Laptop Computer
Arduino is a tool used in making computers that interact with the real world, more than a desktop/laptop. We will work in teams and learn to program the arduino boards to make simple devices. These devices will be able to display simple outputs, such as LED lights, and receive basic inputs, such as switches. We will also learn how to communicate with a computer using an arduino board.  Instructor:  Jared Piro

French Fun for Teens, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $29 plus $3 supply fee
Study French language and culture in a great group immersion setting.  This course includes all the basics of language study – vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, culture, and practice.  Instructor:  Roseanna Ondra

Intro to Technical Theatre, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $36
In this class, students will learn the basics of the theater, including, but not limited to, types of stages, audio and lighting for theater, staging, arrangement, terminology, and history. Any student that has any interest in technical theater would love to be a part of this cool new program.  Instructor:  Matt Inskeep

Video Production, 9:50 or 12:20, ages 12 & up, $36
In this class, students will learn how to use a video camera. Students will learn different types of camera moves and angles. In this short 5 Week class, the students will develop the skills necessary to shoot, edit, and produce their very own video. The Final project will consist of all the students collaborating on one final video project to benefit the Enrichment Hub group.  Instructor:  Matt Inskeep

Beginning Teen Tap, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $29
If you are interested in learning an especially fun form of dance, tap is for you!  You will learn 20 or more steps in this short semester and will get to tap to a modern song (a song the class will vote on)!  Any comfortable dance attire will do. Tap shoes can be any color and are available at Payless or any dance shop.  Instructor:  Deanna Irwin
Intro to Electronics, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $29 + $5
Learn some of the basic concepts of electronics such as oms law, and wiring circuits in parallel and in series.  Make circuits using a breadboard with LEDs, resistor, switches, capacitors, etc. Learn about induction and try some experiments with coils.  Instructor:  Jared Piro

Grid Drawing, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $36 plus $5 supply fee
Come learn how to transfer a favorite photo into a fantastic work of art by using the grid method of drawing!  This method will help you develop the accuracy of proportions and layout in drawing.  Instructor:  Saveria Giovinazzo

The Write Shop, 1:45-3:30, 6th to 10th grade, $55
This part three of our beginning writing class will use the Write Shop curriculum to learn various types of composition; descriptive, narrative, informative, and persuasive.  We will also cover editing skills, current events and journaling.  This class will lay an excellent foundation for next year’s class, the IEW high school course.  This class can coincide with your home studies to be a full high school credit (ask how).  Please bring book to class, along with pencil and paper.  Continued students only, please.  Instructor:  Debbye Rheker

Teen Ceramics, 9:50, ages 11 & up, $36 plus $5 supply fee
Students in this class will be guided in developing both sculptural and functional ceramic pieces while learning about clay and handbuilding techniques. Students will be offered projects that will allow them to explore the material while developing their own "voice" to put into their pieces.  Different pieces are learned each term.  Instructor:  Tracey Priska

Creative Photography, 12:20, ages 10 & up, $36 plus $10 supply fee. BYO digital camera
Come learn about your camera, and some basic fundamentals of composition like the rule of thirds, artistic elements of Lighting and creative perspectives.  It’s all about being creative. Students will be assigned a photo project per week which we will discuss as a class together.  Basic editing will be taught using Picasa 3 and uploaded to a class page on the web every week.  A digital camera and SD card are required.  Instructor:  Shannon Morais

IEW Writing A, 12:20-1:30, ages 9-13, $36 plus $10 online book
In Institute for Excellence in Writing, students will continue to learn how to take notes, produce a summary, use stylistic techniques, write a story, and write a report. Returning students only, please.  Students may need parental help at home!  All assignments must be typed.  Instructor:  Debbye Rheker

Building More Structures, 12:20, ages 10-13, $29 plus $5 supply fee
Learn about building structures such as draw bridges, then build some as a group.  Use materials like dowels, pipe cleaners, and cardboard to erect smaller models of some of these structures standing in the real world.  New and returning students welcome.  Instructor:  Jared Piro

Art with Carmen, 9:30-10:30, or 10:45-11:45, ages 9 & up, 4 weeks, $39 plus $8 supply fee
Develop your own theme, focusing on your own inspiration.  Use your vision to create a beautiful piece of art.  Draw the ideas, texture and paint with oil on stretched canvas in this fine arts class.  Note: no art on June 1st.  Instructor: Carmen Fernandez, Architect and Artist

Sing Out! 9:50, ages 9 and up, $29 plus $3 supply fee
If you enjoy singing and dancing like Glee, American Idol, High School Musical, and The Sing-Off, then this class is for you.  We will learn to sing and dance while having a great time.  Even if you’ve never been in a show choir before, this class is for you!  Come dressed for movement.  Instructor: Gina Holben

Basic Hebrew for Beginners, 9:50, ages 9-18, $29 plus $2 supply fee
An introduction and study course for anyone whom wishes to read, write, and understand the Hebrew language. Students will be able to follow along in an easy-to-understand format starting with Hebrew letters and vowels, and moving on to the construction of words and phrases.  Also, students will learn words that are found in many Jewish blessings.  Class will include worksheets to take home.  Instructor:  Steve Laskowski

Chess Instruction, 12:20, 4 weeks, ages 7-12, $24 plus $10 book
Learn to play chess or advance your skills to compete on a next level. Each class involves chess play with coaching by instructor, including chess tactic, the pin, the fork, possibly more depending on the child’s level of play.  Students will learn the proper use of a chess clock and how to record a chess game.  Homework of 15 minutes per week will be given. Instructor will provide regulation tournament chess sets. Beginner Snare Drum Semi-private Lessons, 12:20 (ish), ages 9-13, $29
Learn basic fundamentals of playing snare drums, times during lesson vary.  New students welcome, or continue your drumming skills from last term.  Drum pad and SD1 general drumsticks will be necessary for the class.  Instructor:  Grant Kendricks

No-Fright Fractions, 9:50, ages 9 & up, $36 plus $5 supply fee
This class will offer remedial instruction of fractions for children, as well as adults (so that parents may help their children).  Making equivalent fractions, reducing fractions, and using fractions in mathematical operations will all be instructed.  This class is homework free! Exploring Scrapbooking, 9:50, ages 8 & up, $29 plus $3 supply fee
Explore scrapbooking in a fun and creative way, while learning about and using many different tools, including a cricket. Students will need 6-12 pictures from home to complete at least 2 pages.  Instructor:  Rebekah and April Richardson

Guitar, Group Lessons, acoustic or electric, 10:50, or 12:20, ages 8 & up, $36
A group guitar class including tuning, notation, chords, strumming patterns, and more!  Beginners and beyond are welcome.   Acoustic/electric reviewed.  Bring your own guitar, or recommendations for rental are available.  Instructor: Neal Wright

Hip Hop Intermediate and Up, 10:50, ages 8 & up, $36
Experience requested.  Let’s move!  An awesome class for all, with clean lyrics!  In hip-hop we will be focusing on the rhythm and the beat of the music, coordinating our movements to go with that beat, and incorporating other styles of dance.  Please wear comfortable fitting shorts/pants and t-shirts with clean tennis shoes or jazz shoes.  Instructor: Jennifer Pierson

Ever wanted to learn to play the piano?  Learn in an easy, fun way with a group!  We will learn the letters on the piano, how to sit, hold your fingers, read music, and even create our own songs! No experience necessary. Please bring a Portable Piano Keyboard to class. Instructor: Gina Holben

Play Writing, 12:20, ages 8 & up, $29 plus $3 supply fee
Learn the basics of quality play writing, and then write your own individual play.  Produce a group play that will be acted out in class the final week.  Instructor:  Steve Laskowski

Knitting with Jeannie, 10:50, ages 7 & up, $29 plus $5 supply fee + size 11 needles
Learn the basics fundamentals of knitting and then create a beautiful scarf to take home.  Bring size 11 knitting needles to first class, please.  Yarn supplied in fee.  Welcome new or returning students.  Instructor:  Jeannie Anthony

Crocheting with Jeannie, 9:50, ages 7 & up, $29 plus $5 supply fee + size H or 8 needle

Clay Sculpture Art, 12:20, ages 7-11, $25 + $5 supply fee
Have fun and explore art and imagination with Sculpey Clay!  We will be doing 4 simple sculpture projects from simple sculpture to jewelry.  Bring your imagination.  We'll provide the inspiration!  Instructors:  Cassidy and Michelle McCoy

Contemporary Jazz, 9:50, ages 6 & up, $36
From Broadway to the movies, jazz can be found anywhere.  Come and learn some fun steps which will create awesome, full-length dances.  We will dance and get some energy out! Attire:  Girls - “yoga” pants or tights and leotard, jazz orballet shoes.  Boys - t-shirt and athletic shorts, jazz shoes.  All long hair pulled back securely, please no hair in face. Instructor:   Jennifer Pierson

Cross Fit Kids, 9:50, ages 6-11, $29
Grow up healthy and strong with a life long love of working out, thus avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity!  Children will push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, jump, effectively and safely, regardless of whether or not they play athletics.  During this program, the coach will educate your child on the importance of making their bodies powerful, enriching their mindsbuilding strong character, creating rewarding experiences, and developing a sense of pride.  We require that kids wear tennis shoes for this program.  Parents welcome!  Instructor: Jason David, assisted by Tyler Piro and Jeremey Ouellette

Tap! Beginner and Intermediate, 12:20, ages 6 & up, $29
The rapid footing patterns of tap dancing are exceptionally fun for kids!   It encourages rhythm, synchronization, precision, and teamwork.  Any attire is acceptable with the exception of bell bottom pants and dresses or skirts that fall under the knee.  Long hair should be brushed into a ponytail. Black tap shoes are required.  Instructor:  Deanna Irwin

Youth Ceramics, 10:50, ages 6–11, $36 plus $5 supply fee
In this class students learn how to shape clay using basic handbuilding techniques. We will be exploring the use of slabs, coils and pinch pots to make both functional and sculptural pieces and allowing room for personal exploration & discovery.  New and returning students welcome.  Instructor:  Tracey Priska

Elementary French through Lango, 12:20, ages 6-11, $43 plus $15 curriculum
New and Returning Students: Come learn in a full-immersion class through our brand new theme “Adventures in the spring”.   Learn French through a variety of proven methods to teach kids to understand, and ultimately speak, a new language.  These adventure-filled lessons incorporate storytelling, music, movement, art and dramatic play.  Parents are welcome to join in on the learning fun, but are not required to do so.  Instructor:  Roseanna Ondra

Sing Out, Jr.! 10:50, ages 5-9, $29 plus $3 supply fee
If you want to learn how to sing and do easy movements, then this class is for you. We will learn to sing and move while singing songs for younger children and having a great time. No experience necessary! Come dressed for movement. Instructor: Gina Holben

Alef-Bet Hebrew, 10:50, ages 5-9, $29 plus $2
Learn an introductory course of Hebrew in a fun and colorful way.  Students will come away with a good knowledge of the Hebrew alphabet (alef-bet) and phrases in a “picture” perfect way.  Instructor:  Steve & Renee Laskowski

Junior Scientists, 9:50, ages 5-8, $29
Come and join us in learning about inventors and scientists who contributed to the wonderful luxuries we have today; like Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Samuel Morse, George Washington Carver, and Thomas Edison. Join us in becoming “junior scientists” while conducting some of their experiments.  Please bring a smock or old shirt and dress appropriately for the weather as we may spend some time outside.  Instructor:  Rebekah Patrick

Step-by-Step Drawing, 12:20, ages 5-8, $36 plus $5 supply fee
Enjoy step-by-step instruction of drawing every day subjects while learning to create beautiful compositions of your own.  Instructor:  Saveria Giovinazzo

Show and Tell and More! 4 weeks, 10:50, ages 4-8, $24
Children will choose from either ‘Show & Tell’ topics or other assigned topics to present to the class.  Each week every student will have a chance to present their topic to the class.  Parents are invited to stay and watch their child deliver the presentation.  Elementary presenting skills will be discussed when it is required.  Note:  No show and tell class June 15th.  Instructor:  Renee Cook

God’s World through Little Eyes Science, 12:20, ages 3-6, $29
Little ones have fun learning about the world God created through age appropriate stories, songs and hands on projects. The focus will be on science and nature, but may include some History and Geography.  Please dress appropriately for the weather as we may spend some time outside.  Instructor:  Rebekah Patrick

Tots Ballet, 1:20-1:50, ages 3-6, $36
Tots Ballet is an adorable class for young children who may or may not have experience in dance.  Ballet technique is the foundation for every style of dance; jazz, modern, ballroom, and even hip-hop!  Girls: Pink or black Leotard, Pink or white Tights, Ballet Shoes.  Boys: White T-Shirt, Black light cotton pants (no sweats), ballet shoes.  All long hair pulled back securely in a ponytail or bun, please no hair in face.  Instructor:  Jennifer Pierson.

More Adventures in Literature, 10:50, ages 3–6, $29
Each week we'll enjoy the adventures of a classic children's book, and then enjoy activities that go along with our story.  We'll play games, create art projects and explore social studies, math and science concepts from the story.  Always a new subject, every term!  Instructor:  Amanda Gehrke
