Stillpoint Yoga, 12:20, ages 14 through adult (parents, this is for you, too!), $55
Classes are designed for beginning through intermediate with modification for individual needs.  Unlike other classes, there is no competition, comparison, or pressure at Stillpoint.  Stillpoint’s holistic approach addresses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.  “…For Him we live and move and have being (Acts 17:28)…”  Bring your own mat and throw blanket, dress comfortably in layers, and come with an open heart.  Instructor:  Grace Farr

U.S. History of the 1800’s, 9:50, ages 13 and up, $28
This will be an in depth study of the immigration flow into the U.S. during the 1800’s.  We will analyze, evaluate, and discuss which peoples were coming into the U.S.; why; and in what capacity they influenced U.S. government, politics, religion, education, and culture.  Assignment: Choose a nationality who entered the U.S. during the 1800’s.  Give examples of concentration: politics, religion, government, entertainment, employment, technology, education, etc.   Instructor: Tracey Cooley Kevelighan, Attorney.

Video Production and Technology, 9:50, 10:50, or 12:00, ages 13 & up, $34
Learn the steps to build a story line, shoot, edit, and finalize a video.  Students will learn how to operate a camera, and parts of the camera.  The student video may then be part of the production presentation.  Requirements:  all students must have access to a computer that can support video editing as this will be homework for the class.  Most Windows have Movie Maker, and most Macs have iMovie.  Ages 13 & up, or successfully completed PA Boot Camp I.  Instructor:  Matt Inskeep

Computer, Intro to Programming, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $34, BYO Laptop Computer
Basic software engineering, or programming, is a means of telling the computer what you want it to do.  In this class, we will learn these basics using the C/C++ programming language.  We’ll also review basic parts of the computer, what they are used for, how the computer runs software, and the logic used to understand how this software works.   Bring your own laptop, and tell what type operating system while registering (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.).  Instructor:  Jared Piro

Cross Fit Teens, 10:50, ages 12 & up, 5 weeks, $28
Grow up healthy, strong with a life long love of working out, thus avoiding the common problems associated with childhood inactivity and obesity!  Children will push, pull, run, throw, climb, lift, jump, effectively and safely, regardless of whether or not they play athletics.  During this program, the coach will educate your child on the importance of making their bodies powerful, enriching their mindsbuilding strong character, creating rewarding experiences, and developing a sense of pride.  We require tennis shoes for this program.  Parents welcome!  Note:  No class 6/17.  Instructor:  Jason David

Beginning Metal Smithing:  9:50, ages 12 & up, $42 plus $18 supply fee
Learn to cut out a metal sheet design with a small safe jeweler’s saw, texture it, and make a pendant or bookmarker. Pendants will be put on a chain or leather cord according to the student’s preference.  Bookmarks will be finished off with a hammered length of wire.  Some bead or stone wrapping will be taught as well.  We will also look at other Fine Craft Metalsmithing works from contemporary jewelry artists. Supply fee: $18 unless different mediums are chosen.  List is available.   Finished piece will be displayed during production.  Instructor:  Karen Walby

Printmaking Meets 3D Design:  10:50, ages 12 & up, $42 plus $16 supply fee
Learn and use printmaking skills with self-created stamps, printmaking ink, and rollers to create an image.  The design will be applied to a light box with low voltage watting to create a wall lamp you can hang in your home.  This class can be a great gateway for a student to consider a career or education in sellable Interior Design work, not to mention the fun! Finished piece will be displayed during production.  Instructor:  Karen Walby

Beginning Watercolor Painting, 12:20, ages 12 & up, $42 plus $10 supply fee
Learn basic water color techniques.  Apply and control this beautiful and unique medium while painting classic and still life objects.  This is a mildly challenging but gorgeous medium to acquire skill in as an artist.  Finished pieces will be displayed during production.  Instructor:  Karen Walby

Foundations in History, 12:20, ages 12 & up, $34 plus $3 supply fee
Through the lives of individual men and women (Pilgrims, Puritans, Founders, and ordinary citizens), God directs the course of history for His purpose.  With aid from the “Drive through History America” program, we will learn, complete activities, and have group discussions about these people.  Instructor:  Racheal Flanagan

Art Journaling, 9:50, ages 12 & up, 5 weeks, $28 plus $5 supply fee
Art journaling is defined as using art in a journal as a personal expression. In this class we will explore techniques in paint and collage to expand on our journaling creativity. Some basic and fun techniques covered will be creating a background with paint, using collage, learning ways to use your journal, and more.  Please bring a photograph of yourself to first class to use for our first page.  Your art may be displayed during production.  Note:  No class 5/20.  Instructor:  Brooke Turner

Broadway Teens, 10:50, ages 12 & up, $34
Music and Dance and Drama, oh, my!  Children will enjoy an exploration of music through singing and listening, dance through choreography, and drama through skits and stories.  They will be acting out a song for performance day. Instructor:  JoAnne Kroll

American Sign Language, 12:20, ages 9 & up, $34
Take this awesome class with your parent, or without.  Based on American Sign Language, learn or continue learning a new language to reach your community.  What a wonderful addition to your homeschooling journey.   Instructor:  Deb Weathers-Jablonski

Teen Ceramics, 9:50, ages 11 & up 5 weeks, $34 plus $10 supply fee
Students in this class will be guided in developing both sculptural and functional ceramic pieces while learning about clay and handbuilding techniques. Students will be offered projects that will allow them to explore the material while developing their own "voice" to put into their pieces.  Note:  No class 6/17.  Instructor:  Tracey Priska

Drama!  9:50, ages 9–16, $34
A fun Drama class of verbal and non-verbal communication form.  Students will come up with their own ideas of who, what, where, creative situations, character development, pantomime, facial expressions and gestures, and create a script through this fashion.  Skills mastered will be used in production at the end of course.  Instructor:  Katie Beth Hostetter, Director of Urban Arts.

Art with Carmen, 10:30-11:45, or 12:20-1:35, ages 9 & up, $56 plus $10 supply fee
Experience a sea shore view.  What would you reflect or project?  Draw the ideas, and paint with oil on canvas.  Note class is 1 hour and 15 minutes.  Finished piece will be displayed during production.  Instructor:  Carmen Fernandez, Arquitect and Artist

Vocal Technique, 9:50, ages 9 & up, $34
Want to improve your vocal skills?  The focus for this class will be on pitch accuracy, breath control, projection, basic anatomy of the voice, and vocal health.  We will use fun and easy vocal exercises to help in our daily recognition of pitch. Every week we will be singing in front of our peers and learning how to give constructive criticism (under the teacher’s supervision.)  All ability levels welcome!  Instructor, Sara Aylesworth

Polymer Clay Special Effects, 9:50, ages 9 & up, 5 weeks, $34 plus $15 (or $7) supply fee
While working with polymer clay, we will be making faux semi precious gem stones by adding ink and special glitter. Supply fee: $15, or $7 for returning students with previous supplies.  Note: no class 5/20.  Instructor:  Renee Cook

Beginner Snare Drum Group Lessons, 12:20, ages 9-12, 5 weeks, $28
Learn basic fundamentals of playing snare drums as a group.  New students welcome, or continue your drumming skills from last term.  Drum pad and SD1 general drumsticks will be necessary for the class.  Skills mastered may be used in production at the end of course.   Note:  No class May 13th.  Instructor:  Grant Kendricks

Song Writing, 10:50, ages 8 & up, $34
Learn how to compose your own song by writing lyrics and music!  Not all pieces have to have words, and not all songs need to have instrument accompaniment.  All skill levels welcome.  Bring your instruments if you want to accompany your own music.  We will discuss basic ear training and theory.  Instructor:  Sara Aylesworth

Hip Hop!  Intermediate, 10:50, ages 8 & up, $42
Some experience requested.  Let’s move!  An awesome class for all, with clean lyrics!  In hip-hop we will be focusing on the rhythm and the beat of the music, coordinating our movements to go with that beat, and incorporating other styles of dance.  Please wear comfortable fitting shorts/pants and t-shirts with clean tennis shoes or jazz shoes.  Dance mastered will be used in production at the end of course.  Instructor:  Jennifer Pierson

Guitar, group, acoustic or electric, 12:20, ages 8 & up, $42
A group guitar class including tuning, notation, chords, strumming patterns, and more!  Beginners and beyond are welcome.   Acoustic/electric reviewed.  Bring your own guitar, or recommendations for rental are available.  Skills mastered may be used in production at the end of course.  Instructor:  Neal Wright

Magnetism and Electricity, 12:20, ages 8-11, $34 plus $5 supply fee
Learn basics about electricity and magnetism, parts used in circuits, and what they are used for.  See how electricity can be made into magnetism, and vise-versa.  Make a compass, alarm, resistor, etc.  Instructor: Jared Piro

Ocean Explorers, 10:50, ages 7-10, $34 plus $5 supply fee
Come explore and learn about the Earth’s amazing oceans and marine biology in a fun, hands-on way.  Kids will write, draw, color, paint, cut, and glue to make their own Ocean Explorer Booklet and Ocean diorama.  Instructor:  Valerie Braekvelt

Contemporary Jazz, 12:20, ages 6 & up, $42
From Broadway to the movies, jazz can be found anywhere.  Come and learn some fun steps which will create awesome, full-length dances.  We will dance and get some energy out! Attire:  Girls - “yoga” pants or tights and leotard, jazz or ballet shoes.  Boys - t-shirt and athletic shorts, jazz shoes.  All long hair pulled back securely, please no hair in face. Dance mastered will be used in production at the end of course.  Instructor:   Jennifer Pierson

Presidents, 9:50, ages 6-10, $34 plus $3 supply fee
Learn about our famous presidents in a fun, age appropriate way.  Play games, learn fun facts, and do activities surrounding some of our founding fathers.  Instructor:  Racheal Flanagan

Knitting for Beginners, 9:50, ages 6 & up, 5 weeks, $28 plus $15 supply fee (or see below)
Knitting has been around for at least 1,000 years and its benefits still abound.  It has been shown to increase right and left brain interaction, increase fine motor skills and pattern following, and is also a great way to simply be still.  We’ll begin this class by spool knitting and quickly transition into knitting with needles to make bookmarks, and either a coin purse or a beanbag.  Class fee: $15, or supply list available.  Note:  No class May 13th.  Instructor:  Shannon Berger

Aesop’s Fables Pockets, 9:50, ages 6-10, $34 plus $5 supply fee
Let’s look at six of Aesop’s fables and make a pocket style book to display what we learn.  We’ll read together, have a question and answer time, talk about the moral of the story, and complete a few crafts that support the story. Instructor: Jen Schulz

Hand Sewing, Beginner, 9:50, ages 6–11, $34 plus $5 supply fee
Come learn the basics of hand sewing and more.  New students welcome, or continue your skills from last term.  Learn to thread a needle, finish off stitches, etc.  Students will make fun projects like their very own purse.  Your new pieces will be displayed in the final production.  Instructor:  Gabrielle Lucido

Fun with the Bible, 10:50, ages 5-8, $34
Why just tell kids about Bible truths, when we can have fun and play games that teach that Jesus loves them?  This non-competitive class is designed to keep young kids focused on the word of God while they play to their hearts content. Learning opportunities within games help kids connect to real life issues such as making new friends, showing love to others, and obeying God.  Instructor:  Deb Weathers

Animals, Animals, Animals!  12:20, ages 5-8, $34 plus $3 supply fee
In this fun class, we’ll learn about all types of animals and their amazing stories.  We’ll do this through fun games, crafts and activities. Instructor:  Gabrielle Lucido

Praise and Worship!  (PAW), 12:20, ages 4 & up, $34
We are called to worship God every day of our life.  A life of praise and worship fills our deepest needs, and also brings great joy to God.  In this class, children will explore a variety of different ways to worship including singing, playing instruments, creative prayer, dance, scripture, and other creative expression.  Instructor:  Ashley Verville

Nature Nut, 9:50, ages 4-8, 5 weeks, $28 plus $3 supply fee
Have you felt cooped up this winter and need to refresh yourself in God’s marvelous creation?  Well, join us for a nature adventure.  We will be studying rocks, birds, flowers, animals, and more.  We will also keep a journal of everything we learn and may take a trip to a nature center (date TBD).  We will be learning through the Bible, books, pictures, and hands-on materials.  Note:  no class 5/20.  Instructor:  Rebekah Patrick

Creation Arts, 10:50, ages 3-6, 5 weeks, $28 plus $5 supply fee
Let’s journey through the days of creation!  Based on “Answers for Preschoolers” and the Bible, we will learn a lesson and correlate it with a fun filled craft, reinforcing knowledge of the physical world God created.  Note:  No class 5/20. Instructor:  Renee Cook
More Adventures in Literature, 10:50, ages 3–6, $34
Each week we'll enjoy the adventures of a classic children's book, and then enjoy activities that go along with our story.  We'll play games, create art projects and explore social studies, math and science concepts from the story.  Always a new subject, every term!  Instructor:  Amanda Gehrke

Tots Ballet, 9:50, ages 3-6, $42
An adorable class for young children who may or may not have experience in dance.  Ballet technique is the foundation for every style of dance; jazz, modern, ballroom, and even hip-hop!  Girls: Pink or black Leotard, Pink or white Tights, Ballet and Tap Shoes.  Boys: White T-Shirt, Black light cotton pants (no sweats), ballet shoes.  All long hair pulled back securely in a ponytail or bun, please no hair in face.  Dance will be used in production, with simple costuming.  Instructor:  Jennifer Pierson.
