Easter Baskets Thank you!

Thanks so much for everyone who helped with the 70X7 Easter Baskets.  We filled a whopping 89 baskets.  What an awesome opportunity to show our kids how to serve!

If you are interested in helping with 70X7 ministry they are there year round!  Check out their website to see the many ways you may be able to help on an ongoing basis with this group.

Easter Basket Ministry


It’s Easter Basket time again for Enrichment Hub!
This year we are partnering with provideInc - 
www.provideInc.org, and again, creating baskets for 70x7 Ministries - www.70x7outreach.org.

Please consider donating Easter baskets and fun, encouraging, and helpful items fo
r filling them and join us for Easter basket assembly project day:

Bring supplies on Friday the 23rd to room 112, or bring finished baskets ready to be sent with the group. All ages of family can help assemble these baskets with supervision.  Items can be dropped off prior to project day at the KCC Troy first floor information desk. Please indicate that the items are for E-Hub and Tricia Ouellette.

Note: Many/most of these baskets will go to adults, some will go to kids, through 70x7 Ministries, reaching out to the homeless and those living at-risk lifestyles on the streets of Detroit: 70x7 Ministries•

What to bring:
* Easter baskets, any kind (The dollar stores usually have nice ones)
• Wash cloths (to place in the bottom of the Easter baskets – NO PLASTIC OR PAPER GRASS PLEASE!)
• Cellophane wrap – or, even better, cellophane bags
• Ribbon for bow on basket
• Easter cards – consider writing an encouraging note.

ITEMS FOR FILLING BASKETS:
• candy (any kind)• gum• nuts• dried fruits• fruit snacks or fruit roll-ups• chips• small flashlights• books• Bibles• nail polish• dollar store women’s perfume or men’s cologne• trail mix• stickers• sunglasses• packaged cheese & cracker• decorative shoelaces• hairclips• lip gloss or lip balm• headbands• small note pads• Pens or pencils• small stuffed animals• socks• bandanas• mini bottle of bubbles• superballs• wristbands• small mirrors• plastic eggs• trial or hotel-sized soaps, shampoos, conditioners, lotions
