October 24, 2008 Cider Mill

Many of our favorite family memories were made here at Yates! This year, we have chosen Yates as our Cider Mill to visit, rain or shine. We can stay mainly indoors if needed.
RSVP with tupperwaretricia@aol.com, with the amount attending, including parents. $4 per person. If parents or babes in arms are participating, $4. If they are not participating, they are free & can wait nearby. Please bring cash, for ease.
We meet at 2:00 pm, and enjoy the beauty around Yates (see below). Tour starts at 2:30, and lasts about 1/2 hour. After, we are free to enjoy the surrounding area.
Tours include a short movie that highlights some behind-the-scenes operations at the cider mill. Each group also has the opportunity to watch the cider being pressed. See the cider being made, taste it fresh from our press to you. The tour ends with a donut and a small apple jug of cider for each person!
Fudge Shoppe, ice cream, apples, scrumptious donuts, etc. available to purchase. Two baby goats, beautiful grounds and River flows through (feed the ducks!), and various trails available to enjoy for free.
